Meet your CPA
Hi, I'm Jon. I'll be your CPA.
I started this firm after building my foundation in public accounting, because I wanted to work directly with people — not pass them between departments. When you reach out, you hear from the person doing your work.
Whether it's your first time hiring a CPA or you're switching from someone else, I'll meet you where you are. No judgment about the state of your records — we'll start from there.
One person, start to finishThe CPA you talk to is the one doing the work.
Prompt repliesGetting back to you promptly is a priority.
Price in writing firstYour fee is in your engagement letter before work begins.
First-timers welcomePlain English, and no judgment about where your records are.
Yes. It costs nothing and doesn't commit you to anything. It's a chance to talk through what you need and see whether the firm is a good fit. General information shared on the call isn't tax advice for your situation — that starts once we've both signed an engagement letter.
What does it cost?
Starting prices for each service are on the Services page, along with what moves the price — like the number of rental properties or how many accounts we're reconciling. After a short conversation you'll get a price in writing, and the fee is set out in your engagement letter before any work begins, so you know the cost up front. Most engagements are quoted as a flat fee.
My records are a mess. Is that a problem?
It's more common than you'd think, and there's no judgment here. Tell us where things stand on the free call. If the books need organizing before a return can be prepared, that's scoped and priced in writing before the work starts. If we find more than expected once we're in the records, we'll tell you before doing anything that changes the price.
How do I send you documents securely?
Not by email, and not through the contact form on this site. Regular email isn't secure enough for Social Security numbers, account numbers, or tax documents. Once we're working together, we'll arrange a secure way to send and receive anything sensitive, and we'll tell you exactly how before you send anything.
